Computer Workshop
- On January 4 at 7 p.m., we'll learn how to Clean Out The Clutter. Our New Year's resolution is to help our computers work better for our genealogical research. Let's look at cleaning out old files and programs, then organizing directories so we can find our data. We also want to keep our data safe by using anti-virus programs and frequent data backups.
Business Meeting
- January 13 at 9:30 a.m. will find David J. Eslick telling us about the Ozarks' Boy Scouts colorful past. Were your ancestors involved in Boy Scouts?
Genealogy Workshop
- January 27 at 9:30 a.m. will be another sharing session. This time let's talk about the genealogy gifts we gave and received. Perhaps this will get us thinking about next year. Some things may take a year to prepare.
Also, remember the OGS library has been closed for the holidays since Wednesday, December 23, 2009, and will reopen on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
